Neuro-Bio is delighted to welcome Helen Collins as Senior Scientist. Helen received her DPhil in Neuroscience from the University of Oxford in 2023. She developed a mouse model of Antidepressant Discontinuation Syndrome, with which she investigated changes in serotonergic signalling using in vivo and ex vivo approaches. Previously, she graduated with an BA in Cell and Systems Biology and a MSc in Neuroscience from the University of Oxford, having gained experience in preclinical studies of neurodegeneration. Helen joins Neuro-Bio as a Senior Scientist to investigate the cellular mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease in primary neuronal cultures and to develop a novel mouse model of the condition.
