Neuro-Bio welcomed a group of 10 students from the City of Oxford College on Wednesday 26th June, who are studying the programmes of Forensic Science and the Applied Science. The students were introduced to Neuro-Bio’ science by Professor Susan Greenfield and visited the labs where they had the opportunity to meet the scientific team and to understand how a biotech company works. Their Group Director of Academic Studies, Hannah O’Neill, shared the following feedback:
“Students found the research exciting and enjoyed hearing about different techniques and industrial applications of their studies in college. All the students were very grateful for the opportunity. Many students were motivated to pursue internship to gain work experience following the visit too, which is exactly what we hoped to achieve.”
We will be welcoming more students from City of Oxford College in the new academic year.
