Baroness Professor Susan Greenfield, CBE
CEO and Founder
Baroness Greenfield, Founder and CEO of Neuro-Bio Ltd is a neuroscientist and has published over 220 papers in peer-reviewed journals over the course of her 40-year career, based mainly at Oxford University. She holds 32 honorary degrees from UK and foreign universities, has received numerous honours including the Legion d’Honneur from the French Government, an Honorary Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians, The American Academy of Achievement Golden Plate Award, and The Australian Medical Research Society Medal. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.

Dr Sara Garcia-Ratés
Chief Scientific Officer
Sara graduated from the University of Barcelona, with a PhD in Neuropharmacology and Drug Development. She started her career with Prof Susan Greenfield as a postdoctoral researcher exploring novel approaches to neurodegeneration at Oxford University and continued this work while transitioning from academia to the private sector. For the last 12 years at Neuro-Bio, Sara has developed from bench to CSO, ranging from Head of Therapeutics and Operations Manager. Her role as CSO is focused on the development of the biomarker and therapeutics assets, as well as covering the patent portfolio for the non-AD assets.

Dominique Kleyn
Commercial Consultant
Serial entrepreneur and life sciences company founder with proven record in MedTech and therapeutics, Dominique brings extensive product and business development expertise to her roles as company director, commercial advisor, angel investor and venture mentor. Non-executive positions include 2 years on the board of the Bioindustry Association, 5 years as a Trustee of the Genetics Society and 3 years as Chair of Imperial Venture mentoring. She holds a BSc in Life Sciences and an MBA with a focus on Technology Entrepreneurship from Imperial College London and has been recognised as a Certified Licensing Professional by LESi.

Charles Monro
Office Manager
Charles has come from a mixture of experiences in office work the most recent being Oodle Car Finance. He saw the company grow from 40 to 850 employees in 6 years along with the changes and adaptations to new policies and procedures. He has worked for Oxford University and the Oxford Courts and has a degree in Sports and Business. He is really looking forward to taking on the new challenges of maintaining Kieran’s level of organisation and adding new ideas to Neuro-Bio.

Natasha Larsson
Executive Assistant to the CEO
Natasha brings her extensive Executive Assistant experience, having worked in a number of creative and financial companies over her career, including The Princes Foundation for the Built Environment, Hunter Wellies and Egon Zehnder International. She has a passion for organization and people, and she is excited to bring her skills to Neuro-Bio and to be part of the team.

Kerri Foster
Operations Manager
Kerri has an extensive background within Administration and Organisation, specifically “PA to the Managing Director” at Smeg UK, and most recently “Customer Service Manager” at Hegenberger Medical. Whilst at Hegenberger Medical Kerri supported the whole team with any administration and managed both the order procedures and the company website. Kerri saw the company grow as it took on 21 new distributors worldwide, as well as entering the US which was a big step forward. Kerri is keen to take on new challenges at Neuro-Bio and is extremely excited to be a part of the team.

Bethany Watkinson
Project Development Manager
Bethany graduated in Neuroscience from Cardiff University in 2022. Since her graduation, she has gained experience working in the biotech industry at Abbott Toxicology where she supported an antibody project for a small subsidiary of the company. She also worked at Pivotal Scientific, a biotech consultancy, where she developed her knowledge of the research & IVD reagent market. Bethany is excited to utilise her knowledge from her degree and translate this into her work, contributing to the progress of Neuro-Bio’s aim of developing a therapeutic for Alzheimer’s Disease.

Princess Kwangware
Finance Manager
Princess has worked as a web and e-commerce consultant. She has gained project management experience across multiple industries among them retail, education, and financial services. Princess is pleased to bring this knowledge and skillset to Neuro-Bio

Johnny Thompson
Business Development Manager
Johnny is a recent neuroscience graduate from the University of Exeter who has a keen interest in Alzheimer’s disease. Johnny has previously worked as a business analyst intern for Ferghana Partners where he evaluated potential pharma/biotech clients and supported senior management with their transaction processes for private equity placements, M&A and corporate partnering deals. Johnny is excited to join the tight knit and friendly team at Neuro-Bio, and looking forward to the challenges ahead.

Samuele Appiah
Finance Assistant
Samuele has gained experience throughout his academic year at Oxford Brookes university, giving him an opportunity to take a placement year at Groupe PSA as their commercial expense analyst, which has broadened his knowledge and understanding to further his passion in finance.
