Allies of Neuro-Bio

This page is to offer a platform for people living with Alzheimer’s Disease and their carers.

We realise that you must be going through a host of new challenges which give rise to new insights and perhaps suggestions for daily life.

Although action cannot always be guaranteed, it is sometimes helpful to have your say and to share your experiences with others in a similar situation.

If you were able to send us your thoughts up to a maximum of 300 words, we thought it would be a step in the right direction to post a selection for others to read.

Please note that we will only be able to post a limited number and that the page will simply be a notice board, not a discussion forum.

If you wish to engage in discussion and further correspondence, then we would invite you also to include your name and email address.

Please send your thoughts to info@neuro-bio.com.

” My name is Adrian Chong from Melbourne, Australia. I am a personal carer to my 85 year old father who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2016. My mother and I turn take turns in looking after him. Being a carer, whether in a paid or unpaid capacity, can be challenging and rewarding at the same time. With my strong partnership with Neuro-Bio, we are hoping that a cure can be found in due course as the number of people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s  continue to escalate around the world. It is a terrible disease but rest assured that there are support for carers like us out there. From personal experience, my advise  would be to reach out for help if necessary.  Otherwise you could experience carer burn-out both physically and mentally. Other than that, spend every moment with your loved one. Treasure the time and experiences. “
