Adam joined Neuro-Bio in July 2023 for a summer placement as Student Scientist, alongside his study of Pharmacology at the University of Liverpool. Adams’s time at Neuro-Bio has now sadly come to an end.
This is what he said about his time at Neuro-Bio and his experience:
‘Working at Neuro-Bio has been one of the best things that I have ever done. I have learnt so much about the application of practical science in the context of an established cell signalling pathway in Alzheimer’s disease. I have been able to experience the drug discovery stage of the drug development timeline, first-hand, which has been both exciting and enlightening.
The staff Neuro-Bio did an amazing job of making me feel like a valued team member from my very first day, creating an experience that has helped build my confidence to be a part of the workforce in this industry. For that I am so grateful. I am excited to see how things progress at Neuro-Bio in the future!’
