Neuro-Bio is delighted to welcome Jack Gordon as part of the team for a 3 months research placement.

Jack is a 3rd year DPhil student at the Department of Pharmacology, University of Oxford after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a BSc Hons in Biomedical Sciences in 2019. He has previously worked on projects studying motor neuron disease with cellular models and the epigenetic regulation of neurogenesis in the adult hippocampus. His current DPhil work is investigating the role of neural progenitor diversity in governing the formation of circuits in the striatum. He is looking forward to applying his scientific skills to neurodegenerative diseases and working on the exciting science at Neuro-Bio.
