On Monday 19th July, Neuro-Bio hosted a lunch meeting with the Culham Europa School in which Mrs Lindsay Powell (Careers Leader and Chemistry teacher) and Dr Emma Coghill (Science teacher) delivered a presentation, giving an overview of the Europa School, and discussing the possibility of a collaboration with Neuro-Bio.
The team had the chance to talk to the teachers individually and learn more a what opportunities both sides could offer: ideas include the team delivering talks to the students, in return of learning a new language (French, Spanish or German). Another idea is for our scientists to mentor some of the older students, who have an interest in Science, later in the year.
Neuro-Bio and Europa school are now fine-tuning the collaboration and are excited to provide an update soon!
